This week was just like any other; David worked and went to school and I stayed home with Joey. We are so excited that it is almost SUMMER. We've started working on our garden recently. Here's a picture of the layout. It's a 15'x15' square. We divided it into four outside sections...
with a little herb garden in the center. I can't wait until things *maybe* actually start growing and I can take pictures of more than just dirt.
We also started re-watching all of the seasons of The Office together this week. We watch an episode or two before bed together every night (after Joey is asleep). We also watched an episode this past Saturday morning and Joey sat there and watched with us until the theme song was over.
We plan on having a picnic together every week this summer, but this week's picnic was indoor because of the wind. We had hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, and baby carrots.
Isn't Joey cute?
I started donating plasma this week and was able to buy myself some new Sunday flats.
And a cute outfit to go with said flats. This is my first ever pencil skirt and I love it.
We also discovered our newest favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. You can get it here. We used half whole wheat and half all-purpose flour. We also replaced 1/2 cup of the butter with 1/4 cup of greek yogurt. ALSO because we were almost out of granulated sugar we used 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar. Other than that the recipe was the same and they are my new favorite.
