Last weekend we had a lot of family in town for Lizzie's baby blessing. David's mom flew in on Thursday. That afternoon she and I went to Costco together to buy things for the luncheon we had following Lizzie's blessing on Sunday. Then Jen and Laura came to our place for dinner. We had pizza with Grandma J and she gave the kids all of their Christmas gifts.
On Friday afternoon we met Jen and Grandma J at a scholastic book fair outlet. We got Joey a ton of books for Christmas at a really great price! All of the books were 50-80% off except for very very few that were only 20% off. It was seriously the most awesome book sale I have ever been to!
On Friday night my parents and siblings (Matt and Emma) flew in and we met them at a Restaurant called the RAM.
Saturday morning we went to Ashlee's birthday party. It was a blast! Joey had fun making his own snow globe, decorating ornaments, eating yummy snacks, and getting to see Santa.
Saturday night we went to the fairgrounds in Puyallup for an event called North Pole at the Fair. We apparently chose the wrong weekend to go because most of the fairgrounds were taken over by another event called A Victorian Christmas that made getting into the North Pole part of the event more expensive. Since the vendor booths took up most of the fairgrounds they had also downsized Santa's House, which made it sort of... lame (and that was the whole reason why we had gone in the first place). But the vendors there were really unique so we had a lot of fun wandering through the different booths.
